Extended Time

  • What if my plans change and I want to add on some time to my rental?

    Please give us as much notice as possible if this is the case. Other people may have reserved the car you are using and this could cause a problem. If it is unavoidable, you may add on to your existing rental but there may be a penalty assessed.

Insurance

  • Can I purchase collision damage waiver?

    Yes, please read below and see why it is a good idea to purchase CDW;

    You are responsible for any damage to the rented vehicle.  Your personal auto policy may provide some protection but not all carriers do. Many personal auto policies will not provide collision coverage if renting a car for business purposes.  If you don’t know for sure, it might be a good idea to purchase CDW.  Even if your personal auto policy does provide protection, you will still have a deductible.  You may possibly reduce the deductible by purchasing CDW.

    If you purchase CDW a collision claim can be waived (less deductible) and therefore you would not have to file a claim on your personal auto policy and avoid any cost increases that may come with that.

    As a general rule, Personal Auto Policies don’t cover “diminished value”,” loss of use”, towing or administrative costs associated with collision claims on a rented car.  Your Personal Auto Policy may only provide for “Actual Cash Value” for the car and not full replacement cost. You could be held responsible for the difference.  Many renters opt for the CDW just for the simple fact that they are typically driving an unfamiliar car in an unfamiliar area.

  • What if I don’t have insurance?
